Improving Transparency for Meta’s Integrity Systems

My Role

Led research, design, and prototyping

Result

Created a scalable, centralized integrity view that improved signal visibility.

Improved efficiency and team alignment by fully eliminating triage workload.

Context

Integrity Snapshot (iSnap) is an internal tool that provides transparency into the integrity systems on the Meta platform. It is one of the few tools cleared by Meta’s legal team and is available to all FTEs and a limited set of internal and external contractors. iSnap plays a critical role for Tier 1 PSO agents by providing access to Business Integrity (BI) signals. The tool serves 4,000 unique users monthly and supports approximately 11,700 page loads weekly.

User Challenge

Before this project, users lacked a centralized and cohesive way to gain insights into account-level issues. Signals from Pages, Ads, Accounts, and Users were displayed in fragmented views, forcing users to piece together information manually. Existing tools were data-rich but not structured to support support workflows, limiting their effectiveness for customer-facing roles.

User Research

I led a comprehensive UX overhaul, beginning with leading a user research workshop. I mapped pain points across tools, consolidated feedback from user interviews, and conducted synthesis to highlight the core needs. I proposed a Page Pattern Framework to create structure and consistency across entity views. This enabled a new model for real-time interaction, contextual insights, and centralized integrity signals.
